Homeless services and resources
The East County Homeless Task Force (ECHTF) was created in 2017 to address the growing population of individuals and families who were at-risk or currently experiencing homelessness. El Cajon Collaborative chairs the Access to Services Solution Group which created resource guides and food pantry resource guides. El Cajon Collaborative also manages the ECHTF website for East County Resources at www.ecassist.org. The Access to Services Solution Group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. The meetings are at the East County Chamber of Commerce, 201 S. Magnolia Ave., El Cajon.
The El Cajon Collaborative Homeless Work Group was created in 2017 to work with the Cajon Valley Union School District to assist with families who identified themselves as homeless and to meet the needs in the community with resource assistance. The El Cajon Collaborative resource website can be found at www.elcajonresources.org. The ECC Homeless Work Group meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. Meetings are held at Cajon Valley Union School District, 750 E. Main St., El Cajon.
