The East County Homeless Task Force (ECHTF) was created in 2017 to address the growing population of individuals and families who were at-risk or currently experiencing homelessness. El Cajon Collaborative is active with this group to ensure families have access to resources
El Cajon Collaborative also partners with the East Region Collaborative Network to update the website for East County Resources at www.ecassist.org.
The El Cajon Collaborative Homeless Work Group was created in 2017 to work with the Cajon Valley Union School District to assist with families who identified themselves as homeless and to meet the needs in the community with resource assistance. The El Cajon Collaborative hosts the East County Food Network Webpage with assistance from local food pantries, Feeding San Diego, and The San Diego Food Bank at EastCountyFoodNetwork.org. The ECC Homeless Work Group meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. Meetings are held at Cajon Valley Union School District, 750 E. Main St., El Cajon.
