COLLABORATIVE MEETINGS
Council, Community health working group, Homeless services working group, and food access network meetings are monthly.
Collaborative Council - Once per month on the First Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Meetings at Cajon Valley Union School District Boardroom, 750 E. Main St., El Cajon in person only.

Community Health Working Group - Identifying ways to live a healthy life in El Cajon through discussions and action items to create change. Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. on Zoom. Community members welcome. Email for a link to the meeting.
Homeless Services Working Group- This working group meets at Little House, 131 Avocado Ave., El Cajon on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
Attendance is open to the public. Email for a link to the meeting.
Food Access Network - The second Monday each month at 1:00 p.m. on Zoom. As needs grew during COVID-19, El Cajon Collaborative brought together the local food pantries, food distribution programs and supporting agencies to work together to better serve our community. Attending meetings is not the only way to engage with the El Cajon Collaborative.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
1. ATTEND & SHARE: Attending the El Cajon Collaborative Council meeting creates an opportunity for networking and sharing resources and information about programs and services that serve the needs of the El Cajon Community. Meetings are the 1st Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at Cajon Valley Union School District, 750 E. Main St., El Cajon 92020.
The Homeless Services Work Group is a working group of the El Cajon Collaborative and the public is invited to attend. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at Cajon Valley Union School District, 750 E. Main St., El Cajon at 9:00 a.m.. Our new Community Health Work Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at Little House, 131 Avocado Ave., El Cajon. For information call Carol Lewis at (619) 447-4380.
2. BUILD CONNECTIONS: Building on meeting connections and utilizing contacts when planning programs or seeking partnerships is the foundation of collaboration.
3. DISCUSS COMMUNITY NEEDS: Identifying and discussing community needs that exist despite community partnerships, often influences the work of the El Cajon Collaborative.
4. SIGN A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT: Any organization or individual can sign a Partnership Agreement with the El Cajon Collaborative. Signing an agreement means a commitment to active participation, strategic support and involvement in the Collaborative.
5. SERVE ON A LEADERSHIP WORK GROUP: Leadership Work Groups provide the overall vision, direction and management of the Collaborative. To serve on these teams individuals and organizations must have a signed Partnership Agreement.
6. COMMIT RESOURCES: Contributing resources to the El Cajon Collaborative ensures its continued success. The El Cajon Collaborative has remained strong for 28 years due to the funding and resource commitments made by its Partners.
