A Work group of el cajon collaborative

El Cajon Collaborative formed the Community Health Working Group in Fall 2018 to identify and assess gaps, disparities and community needs; building on existing resources, formulating policy recommendations and acting on data in new and coordinated ways so residents in El Cajon can thrive. The working group is comprised of local stakeholders including community health clinics, insurance providers, public health, social services, faith-based organizations and community residents who are interested in creating healthy neighborhoods. This work group also serves as the Wellness Council for the Cajon Valley Union School District, to assist in supporting district-wide health policy development, implementation, review and updates. Meetings are the third Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. We are currently meeting virtually via Zoom. Please email Carol Lewis for a link to the meeting. Everyone is welcome.
