The Draft 2025 Regional Plan is now available for public review and comment through July 18, 2025.
The draft plan outlines proposed transportation improvements to existing infrastructure, new projects, supporting programs and policies, implementation actions, and a financial plan. This will help make getting around the San Diego region more convenient, equitable, healthy, and safe for everyone who lives, works, and travels here.

OnTrack | Metropolitan Transit System (MTS)
MTS is the agency that operates San Diego's bus system, Trolley, and Rapid. This summer, MTS will undergo a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) - a process that will help guide the agency's plans and priorities for the future. This is an effort to inform the public and get them involved in the planning process. All riders, and non-riders are welcome to submit their comments and help MTS re-shape public transportation in our region.

RIDE WELL TO AGE WELL TRANSPORTATION TRAINING FOR ADULTS 50+ and NEWCOMERS
Thank you to San Diego Foundation and Mental Health America for their support teaching East Region residents all of the many options available to them for transportation and to HHSA Aging & Independence Services for assisting with a new curriculum available to all agencies throughout San Diego County. El Cajon Collaborative was honored to provide transit trainings in several languages to our newcomers and seniors 50+. Participants received PRONTO cards, a manual of how to use public transportation,
field trips and lunch.
